The O'Neill Coldwater Classic is LIVE this morning in clean four-to-six (1-2 metre) waves and today's proceedings will begin with Round 5, crowning an event champion by day's end.

"A new swell has filled in overnight and we'll start first thing with Round 5 this morning," Rich Porta, ASP International Head Judge said. "We plan on crowning a champion today and best of luck to our remaining competitors."

Up first this morning will be Gabriel Medina (BRA), 18, against Alejo Muniz (BRA), 22, in Heat 1 of Round 5.
