KariKari Lodge is fully furnished and self contained-located at 26 Inland Road in the beautiful coastal residential Whatuwhiwhi on the KariKari Peninsula in the sub tropical Far North of New Zealand.KariKari Lodge is just a brisk five minute walk from Tokerau Beach.
The Lodge is a three bedroom single-storey home which sleeps up to seven people.It is on a private fully fenced section and is wheelchair accessible.All bedding and linen is supplied.
There is service station, a small superette, liquior store,takeaway, information/internet centre and boat ramp within close proximity of the lodge.The Carrington Estate,Golf Course,Vineyards Cafe,Pitch in Putt, Karikari Kayaks for Hire are a good 10min walk away.
Whatuwhuwhi is 17km from State Highway 10 and 26km North of the historical,picturesque,seaside village of Mangonui.To reach the Karikari Peninsula from the south take a right turn, six kilometres past Taipa on to Inland Road. From Kaitaia and north, the turn off is a 20 minute drive from Awanui on State Highway 10.
Within a 10 to 15 minute drive from the lodge you can find a number of beautiful beaches suitable for surfing, fishing, diving and swimming. Within a 30 minute drive, one may experience the rugged beauty of the West coast. Horse treks, fishing charters and tours are just some of the exciting activities available while sojourning in the Far North. Information on these can be found at the lodge.
