THE BARRON STORY

Hi, I'm Paul Barron. I started the Barron label in 1996 and while I specialise in boards for the local conditions, Christchurch, New Zealand, I enjoy making custom boards to meet your specifications and design criteria, whatever they may be.

I've surfed in Fiji, Indo, Mexico, Costa Rica, over in Oz as well as here in NZ, so you can be sure I understand where you're coming from and can help you with your choice of board for your style of surfing. Barron Boards does not only shape your board, but also produce the artwork too. Do you have a favourite pattern, character or colour you want on your board? SURFBOARDS

I make all types of surfboards from shortboards to Mini Mals & Mals, such as the Keri Tahi 9'1". Swallow tails, new types of fins, you name it, you can get it done at the factory near the Canterbury coast here in North Brighton, Christchurch. To keep my boards competitive, Barron sponsors some great Kiwi surfers.

The prices range from $695 for a shotboard to $980 for a long board.
