Greetings True Believers

Wife and I are taking our two boys for two weeks caravan camping in the next school holidays. Picking up the caravan and 4WD from Newcastle and heading north. Need your wisdom on where to go. Wife and eldest (8yrs) are beginner surfers, but I'm happy in anything (except getting off the rocks at Lennox. Dodgy place)

I've been that way before and enjoyed my time camping at Treachery Beach and at Broken Head, but if there are any other places then please post them. Keen on ideas about going inland as well if there are no waves.

Thx

I've only covered some of the northern NSW coast, but I'd recommend Yamba, Evans Head, Ballina, Lennox and of course Byron.

Nice little beach at Yamba. called The Cove I think.
Angourie is just down the road. Spookys is nice. Morning of the Earth territory.

Evans Head is a cool little place. Seen photos of it really good, unfortunately not when I was there....

There's a beach just north of Ballina called Angels (I think) Really nice beach and quite mellow.
