How do you find the slayer Jabes...>I had one custom made through Freeride out west aucks a couple of years back when they first came out....wasn't overly excited on it but never surfed it in quality waves...... thought it would go sick in some hefty barrells but ended up selling it

yeah its not bad good down the line but not much of a top to bottom board my older copy went best in 2 to 4ft decent barrely waves. this one was just my indo gun/ back up board girlfriend mainly uses it now

Thats cos it is... A "force 10" I thought I might save myself $2000 and use it as a standup paddle board... but Its almost impossible to use due to being to narrow and having a massive V on the bottom. I actually surfed on it on Saturday... its a wave catching machine and does a mean bottom turn Took it out at 5 ft K a couple of years ago and had a total ball... just getting in so early on the unbroken wave then death run thru the bowl to the inside...

Interesting- Ive often thought some of those older shapes would make a decent surf board.... Ive got windsurf race board which is 2.28m long and 1m wide with a 700mm long fin... I wont be giving that a go in surf anytime soon...

hah I read that the album edit of that song was done on a 4 track pr1cking around scraping the guitar with a half full can of Coors. they couldn't replicate the same sound in the studio so just used the coors edit.

My first quiver. this is I think 46 years ago. The two boards on the far right are made from cutting my sisters longboard in half, and making a mini simmons, and a strange looking single fin, glassing them with some of my dad's boat resin, and painting the french curve symbol on. I still have the yellow Atlas Woods tracker, still with the maltese cross I painted on it.

I have probably surfed about 5000 waves on it as a kid, and thought it was red hot, used to keep it in my bedroom. Surfed it a while ago, its horrible, go to turn it and it feels like you have thrown out the sea anchor, but very nostalgic.

This is a pic from a few years ago of my fleet. It is hard to get them all in the same place at the same time, as a few are usually lent out or over on the west coast, but I will try to get them all home and take an updated pic soon, as I have added to the collection a bit since then.

There is a Skip Frye fish, very interesting, a couple of MR twins, A Bob Mctavish twin, Atlas woods from the early 9'6" through the V-bottom, to the tracker and the ultra short and thick single fin. What looks most elegant to my old eyes are the nice foiled single fins around the 6'10" mark. They look beautiful to me.
