The Future Primitive Ghost 13 is heading to San Francisco.

From a message received this morning:

"Aloha Roy ... the board has been great fun for me and was surfed at many spots on Oahu, Maui, Molokai, Lanai and Kauai during the time it has been in my possession.... "

You should take the opportunity to head over and accompany the board on it's tour through California Roy.

Nice place San Francisco! I'm sure you would enjoy it.

Listen f*ckface the Olo tour was instigated and created by surfco forum members back in 2008 and they have a right to know what's happening next with it,

Furthermore many people have enjoyed the board during its tour.

Lastly....

The Jtah tedium factor is currently at an all time high, as is his blood pressure by the sound of it.

The main point by the way is that the board is going to California, where there are lots of people keen to ride it.

Much as you would like that to be true it is demonstrably not the case.

By the way Duncan Campbell one of the Bonzer creators rode the board at Laniakea and has video footage, he said that he was stoked with the ride.

Are you kidding the Hawaiian one has ended on a great note didn't you read the first post? Also Duncan Campbell rode the board. All that other sh*t was just a few haters of no real consequence in the long run.

Some surfco members will remember Mr Doof from San Francisco who rode the board in the South Island. He asked if we'd like him to ship the board to his place and set the ball rolling, he also wants to ride it again. So it'll just be a freight company doing it.

You can get a return flight to the US for under a grand. The whole TSA thing is overstated. (just give the operator a wink while you're being scanned)
and the family will survive without you for a couple of weeks.

DO IT MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

An opportunity you may never get again.....

Howzit Oldschool, thanks for the suggestion, however: my family arrangement is not up for public grabs; TSA 'aint getting their radiation scanner or their mitts on me; the board will be touring California for a couple of years at least and I'd rather let the crew there get on with it without my physical presence... plus the internet makes the trip unnecessary.

Good luck with the Cali hikoi

There is an outside reef break I know of that breaks 150mtr through 3 fast sections and then bends nearly 90 degrees and runs a further 200 before running out. Good a head high+ Can be surfed at 8-10 still has a channel to get around to the outside.

The first sections are hard to make but still makeable, be interesting to ride one of your boards on it. Maybe 13 footer+

Let me know if ever interested in heading this way and keen to get it out there.

Absolutely. Inevitable disagreements but the nz hikoi was great. Met up with a bunch of surfcoers and had a few rides on the board. Hope cali crew enjoy the experience and don't get hung up on Roy-fights.

No criminal activity FYI and there's no requirement to go to USA at all, plus I lack the desire.

TSA scanners are dangerous by the way.
