Unless they've been in Wellington. On the up side, I had more good coffee in 5 days than I've had all year...notable mentions being Chocolate Fish cafe and Midnight Espresso for oldtime's sake.

And again on the up side, I pick up a new board tomorrow and there's going to be surf all week. Taylors looked fair pumping tonight.

OK, the proposition is

The carbon patches being added here and there to surfboards are just a moronic attempt to look 'high tech' but since the buyers are at the same level as the shapers, it works.

Unless of course the shaper knows what hes doing is moronic and knows that bullsh.it runs a marathon.
Its like the excessive pricing of certain excessively long wooden boards.
like the herbal cancer remedy that no one would buy until they made it 500bucks per dose,,,

but from creasing a firewire recently i would say any help in strength without sacrificing weight is a plus when it comes to epoxy.

Question: what is the scale of said "level"??
and isnt labelling people into levels the
same reason in which some people oppose ..........say..competition surfing

Roy could make the most lightweight, high performance surfboards the world has ever seen Nelly. The problem Is that Roy's idea of the perfect wave is a wave that actually doesn't break hence the need to create 13ft slop sliders... he shouldn't be commenting on any form of design outside of his nailed shut wooden coffin headspace.
