Now that we are talking brands... Do surfers still wear surf branded clothing ie Quiksilver, Billabong... or is that just the domain of grommets, westies and bogans?

I wear whatevas around, a deliberate choice not to wear a particular type of clothes is a bit hipster for me.

Actually I pick up a lot of Quicksilver etc at the night market to take home for my nephew, $8 for good high quality rip offs cannot tell them quality wise from the real thing, good value plus get to give my coin to the little man and rip off multinationals at the same time.

Yeah New Wave was an awesome brand when I was 15 or so, would always stop in at Blitz shop and get some singlets and hoodies when in gizzy.
