I saw Bob Marley and the Wailers in auck back in the 70's sometime. I didnt even like reggae at the time , but it was one of the best concerts I have ever been to.That big backwards beat, gorgeous aloof elegant looking backing singers...if you watch Bob dance, it isnt on the obvious beat, he seemed to be listening to the sort of between the beats rythyms, really interesting. He had a real personal power, sort of like Hitler but in a good way.
