LOL! no Jabes they dont stink eye you, if your in the contest area when they start it, some tosspot comes along on a jet ski and says "GO IN"!! in an extremely loud voice.... and demonstrates "GOING IN' with hand signals.
This happened tues morning. One would have thought that "clear the contest area" would have been more polite than "GO IN"! but i think this chap is a clubbie, in fact i know I have seen him whizzing about in his rubber ducky and pulling his sluggoes up his @rse so as a beach nazi, you can only expect this sort of behaviour given a little power and a jet ski.
Anyway, I didnt GO IN!, i paddled down to the rivermouth, but El jetski man kinda positioned himself between old mans and the rivermouth just in case i paddled across the intervening 200mtrs and snagged a wave from under the groms noses.

AC/DC have a set formula and have stuck to it from the outset. Hence there success! Have a listen to the old stuff and Bond Scott had a great voice that complemented Angus's great guitar skills. New singer Brian Johnson sounds like he's been chewing on gravel and washing it down with a litre of vodka followed by 2 packs of ciggies.

I agree with you BC. Take Joe Sach for example. Technically amazing ... but musically theres no a lot of soul and his success hasn't mirrored his skills.
The comparision of me to AC/DC was more the 2-3 chord thing mentioned by 2020. That would be the ONLY similarity. Musically we are polls apart in sound and skill
