CD' reviews
thought be an idea to have a few Cd' - Album, reviews posted up what's thr most recent you bought (or havent bougth) and wat did you thinbk of it.
Ben howard
It's a pretty good album . . 17 songs seventeen fairly impressive in itself the whole album in itself is fairly laid back but that isn't disturbing at all it's pretty good listening ben howard is petty well at home with handeling a guit .. making use of deep bass tones finger picking styles and all round good tunes the whole album is pretty much . . a whole there are no flamboyant outbreaks or something totally different than other the style that he's doing . . what it can be most compared to is Davd gray voice wise and even some style wise . but i think he beats david gray in the bag apart from one or two Very good tracks D G has made . . I think Howard has a way more consisency in being able to keep your ears listening . . Some very interesting and cool compilations . . def 7 out of ten .

if you dont know what a cd is dont review it, im sure all you bright young things have downloaded a tune or two, (or even a whole album)
why dont you review that song you heard on the radio and downloaded and havent opened the file (except when you have your I tunes library on random play ) since....?

If you enjoy the section in Empire where they utterly slate poor movies, heres a review from Stuff that made their worst 5 albums list. The Cranberries, Irelands worst export since....well actually theres a bloody list of them
THE CRANBERRIES
Roses
The world was doing just fine. I mean there was that global recession thing that just won't go away - doesn't matter how much new money you print up to throw at it! And there have been a series of earthquakes, tsunamis, floods and storms around the world, seemingly more devastating as global warming is either the culprit or just some wishy-washy idea the government would have you believe so that the chem-trails can continue. And there was that shocker where a New Zealand arts funding body decided that a phony reality TV show filmed in Australia and depicting New Zealand's indigenous people as money-hungry party-animals with the bottom rung conquered on the ladder of literacy would do fine when it came to promoting a "doc-umentary" that promotes Maori culture. So there were those things. But the world was still here - at least. So from that point of view things were okay. And then The Cranberries had to blow it and end 11 years of silence (ah, that sweet, sweet silence) and return with more of Delores' vocal strychnine and another round of pedestrian pub-rock prancing. The Cranberries sound has not improved - which is to say it has not changed at all.

I was being facetious. Into an album review thread as I am so out of touch now that I listen to hardly any new music.

PC tries to be a comedy killer but the very fact it is there, makes things more comedic. They get the last laugh though static, as non of them will be getting surfers ear any time soon.

Yea pretty sick album huh, gets a wee bit dancehallish but pretty refreshing. His vocals on Faithless' 'No Roots' make that album for me.

You need to listen to more positive vibes music like Ben Harper and Jack Johnson BC
thats what real surfers listen too.
I have listened to ben harper and the blind boys of alabama.
^^I havent... I am not a fan of blind people and their beeping cross now crossings... walking the streets would be far more stress free if blind people were kept in a safe padded room in a large state owned facility.
I like the new killing joke album "MMXII" - sounds a lot like KJ of old
sounds like beast wars ^
