Day 1
Alex Dive competing during their second round match ups held today (Sunday 13th January) at the 2013 Hyundai National Surfing Championships at Piha Beach, Auckland.

Ella Williams shocked her opponents surfing in the Under 18 Boys Division winning her heat and moving through to the quarterfinals. Williams also entered the Open Men’s Division but was eliminated. Williams will commence competition in the women’s.
