Biarritz
Well the year on tour has gone crazy quick and I'm back on the Gold Coast prepping myself for the last event of the year in America, Huntington beach.
Winter Sun
I've been having heaps of fun lately, surfing, training and soaking up all the winter sun. The waves on the Gold Coast haven't stopped and I've been getting my fair share out at Snapper, Dbah and some of the beachies.
Working From Home
There has been a lot of fun waves around lately, a few flat spells and then quick rises in swell with the point breaks like Snapper firing.
Brazil
Well after watching a few movies and waiting in a few airports we eventually made it to Brazil a little jetlagged but looking forward to the start of the event.
Gold Coast
I'm on the Gold coast at the moment, there have been non stop waves since I got back from the Beachley in Sydney, heaps of swell and really good conditions. I'm out of the water for a week though after hitting my face on the reef in my first heat in Sydney.
Taranaki
Hey everyone. I just got back to the Gold Coast yesterday so I spent the day sorting all my gear and trying out a new board in warm water which was nice. Then this morning I caught the early flight down here to Sydney for the Beachley Classic. It was awesome going to Taranaki last week.
Next stop Taranaki!
I'm really excited to be over in NZ right now, it's so pretty! I'm staying with friends and my brothers and sisters and looking forward to the Taranaki comp. It's cool to see everyone here and I really enjoy being back in NZ! Last week at Bells was a lot of fun as we had consistent swell throughout the contest and the waves were mostly clean with nice bowls to hit.
Bells
Had a good trip down here to Bells, one of the girls was injured for this event, so being first reserve i got the call up to come compete. The weather here is really sunny and warm, it's chilly in the mornings though and then heats up during the day. The water is definitely cooler so I have had to go from bikinis to wetties.
